All “Build Your Own” products, as well as jewelry and “Gea Ancestral Beauty” products are designed and packed as soon as order is placed. If you want to change your order, fill out the form in our “Contact Us” section, within 24 hours of your order placement. Keep in mind, that engraved jewelry, accessories and most t-shirts are outsourced, and once are sent to production we are not able to make any changes!

JEWELRY

• All jewelry is handcrafted by me (Amy) after each order is placed.
  It takes up to 2 days for design and prepare for shipping, you will receive an email notification from [email protected] when your jewelry design is completed and has been shipped, which will include your tracking number.
  We ship with USPS First-Class mail, which takes 1-3 business days in the US, depending on location.

APPAREL

• For Trapped In Static merchandise, shipping is 3-5 business days, only in the US.
• For other artists merchandise, as they are created upon order, same shipping and handling info as “Build Your Own T-Shirt”, check below.

BUILD YOUR OWN T-SHIRTS

• Fulfillment takes about 2–7 business days, from the moment we receive your email, verifying the design and print the t-shirt.
  Average shipping time for the US is 4 business days depending on destination. Total time to receive your items, 3-5 business days for US, 5-15 days for CA, 10-21 days for EU and the rest of the world. Shipping is $4 for the first t-shirt and $2 for each extra, within the United States.

BUILD YOUR OWN ENGRAVED JEWELRY

• Fulfillment takes about 2–7 business days, from the moment we receive your email, verifying the design and engraving your jewelry.
  Average shipping time for the US is 4 business days depending on destination. Total time to receive your items, 3-5 business days for US, 5-15 days for CA, 10-21 days for EU and the rest of the world. Shipping is FREE for within the United States.

• Electronics & other items, are shipped with USPS First-Class. Shipping & Handling for the US is 1-3 business days.

For international shipping, there might be extra charges, duties, export taxes etc which are the buyer’s responsibility.

FREE SHIPPING

• Free shipping is not available for all products and is only for the US.
• Gea Ancestral Beauty products are not qualified for free shipping, as well as accessories and build your own t-shirts.

Local pickup is also available for some of the items in the store during holiday seasons. You will receive an email with location information and available times, after your order. Pick up locations are only available for New York and New Jersey, with zip codes 11377, 11103 and 07105 as well as nearby areas.

Build your own T-shirts, engraved jewelry, face masks, phone cases are not available for local pickup as they need to be outsourced for final production.

• You get 15 days to return your items starting from the day you receive your dispatch email.
• We do not accept exchanges, but you can return the item and we will happily offer you a 20% discount for your next order.
• We do not cover the return shipping.
• T-Shirts and other apparel items must be unworn and unwashed.
• Pierced jewelry cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons and is non-refundable.
• Beauty products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and are non-refundable.
• Headphones cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and are non-refundable.
• Engraved jewelry has been personally customized and are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your order, you have only 24 hours before sent into production. Please make sure your design is correct upon submitting your order.
• We will issue the refund as soon as we receive your return.
  Please keep in mind that it might take up to 7 days until it shows up in your bank’s statement as processing times vary.

SYNTHETIC

Like most metals, synthetic material can tarnish and discolor. Depending on a variety of factors (metal content, finish, exposure to certain conditions), this can happen very quickly, or take several months. To help prevent tarnish, it’s best to avoid moist or wet conditions, and when not in use, store in an airtight container (a silica gel sachet can help by absorbing any moisture in the container). Below some tips on how to clean your jewelry.

• Tarnish is thankfully very easy to remove. One of the easiest methods, is with common household toothpaste (non-gel, non-whitening). To clean your pendants, work the paste into a lather and then apply directly to the pendant, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush or similar to get into grooves, or scrub at more stubborn tarnish (please note that sometimes, if the tarnish has been left for too long, the metal will remain discolored). Once the pendant is clean, rinse thoroughly to ensure there is no paste residue, then dry.

• You can also polish the jewelry after cleaning. Alternatively, you could use fresh lemon juice mixed with baking soda into a paste. Using a soft cloth, apply the paste to the piece, working on the affected areas longer. When done, rinse off using warm water then towel dry it immediately. You don’t want your jewelry to suffer from permanent water damage!

• If your pendant has black spots or a black finish on most or some areas, you can restore its previous gleam using a cotton bud that’s dipped in a nail polish remover. The remover will dissolve and remove the stain. Keep in mind that some pendants have this black finish to highlight its design!
  If the black finish or stain is widespread, you could dip the whole jewelry piece in a small bowl with the acetone-based remover, allow it to sit for a few minutes and then brush the stains off gently using a soft brush. After brushing, rinse and wipe dry the piece before storing.

Keep your jewelry free of dust and clean them often while limiting their exposure to water. They will continue looking great, if you take good care of them!

STAINLESS STEEL

Although stainless steel jewelry doesn’t tarnish or corrode and doesn’t require special care, it can scratch. That’s why you should wear and store your pieces in a way that minimizes any contact with other items that can damage your stainless steel jewelry. Store your stainless steel pieces separately from jewelry made of other metals. It is best if you keep your stainless steel items in individual bags or pouches, like the Dirty Meow jewelry bag 😊

1. Pour some warm water in a small bowl, and add some mild dish-washing soap.
2. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth in the soapy water, and then gently wipe the stainless steel jewelry with the damp cloth until the piece is clean.
3. When cleaning it, rub the item along its polish lines.
4. Wipe the remaining soap off your jewelry using a moist cloth dipped in clean water.
5. Dry the jewelry well with a clean towel, and then leave your pieces to air dry.
6. After your stainless steel jewelry is clean, you can use a jewelry polish or a polishing cloth to shine it.
